Volunteer Tutor

Emmanuel Ezeoke is one of our volunteer tutors. He is the lead instructor for the Science subjects. Emmanuel is a Healthcare scientist and works in Public Health Scotland. He believes that writing and analytical skills are a fundamental part of academic excellence and are the building blocks of critical thinking in young minds, particularly those socioeconomically disadvantaged. Emmanuel holds a first degree in Veterinary Medicine and an MSc in Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Resistance from the University of Glasgow.

  • Improve child poverty and financial exclusion within our community
  • Challenge female genital mutilation practices
  • Challenge domestic and sexual violence
  • Reduce gender inequalities in employment, wages and leadership roles
  • Support and mentor young girls and women
  • Promote life-long learning and well-grounded education for men and women
  • Research economic, social and developmental challenges
  • Promote African cultural heritage through events and documentaries
